He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sr. Riha and Verena Riha (Schneberger); his brother Stan; his sister-in-law Bette Riha; his sister Mary Fritz; his brother-in-law Jerry Nierling; his father-in-law Robert Vopava; and his nephew Monty Riha.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi of Harpers Ferry; his daughter Lori of Marion, IA; his sister Betty Nierling of Cedar Rapids; his brother-in-law Ron Fritz of Protivin; his mother-in-law Lorraine Vopava; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Hayek of Decorah, Sharon Panos (Jim) of Protivin, Mary Moen (Gordy Snitker) of Decorah, LouAnn Collins (Matt) and Roberta Swestka (Gary) of Protivin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
