She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Herman and Anna Herman (Schulte); her spouse John Snakenberg; her son Richard Snakenberg; her son-in-law Stanley Chambers; and her siblings, Elmer, Omer, Howard, Myron Herman, Bernadine Van Otegham and Lorene Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Chambers of Harper and Karen Holland (Tony) of Carlyle, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Mike Chambers (Jaci), Lori Myers (James), Joni Goetsch (Cory), Christopher Holland (Cheryl) and Stephanie Luebbers (Seth). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
