With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Striegel of Harper, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Striegel and Alma Striegel (Bombei); and his brothers, Danny and Edward. He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Harper; his children, Dan Striegel (Laura) of Riverside, Diana Wilcox (Jeff) of Cedar Rapids and Dean Striegel (Shellie) of West Branch; his grandchildren, Brandon Striegel, Tyler Striegel, Jesse Wilcox (Amy), Anna Myers (Patrick), Sydney Striegel, Brett Striegel and Evan Striegel; his siblings, Kenneth Striegel (Deb) of Ollie, Leo Striegel (Jacque) of Harper, Dennis Striegel (Jeannie) of Harper, LeRoy Striegel (Deb) of Carlisle, Raymond Striegel (Ginny) of Indianola, Joyce Webster of Decatur, Francene Lorenzo (Lou) of Williamsburg, Jeanette Peirce (Dick) of Williamsburg, Sharon Banks (Ed) of Garden Grove and Jane Mendenhall (Sam) of Garden Grove; and his sister-in-law Barb Striegel of Keswick. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Memory Unit at Lone Tree Healthcare Center or Heartland Hospice.
