It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Justin Hammen of Harper, Iowa, who passed away on December 3, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hammen and Mamie Hammen (Peiffer); his wife Joan Eberle; and his siblings, Eleanor Hammen, Mary Sieren, Charles, Leonard, Paul and Herbert Hammen.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo Schmitt (Mike) of Kinross, Dave Hammen (Patty) of Harper, Pam Pecenka (Bruce) of Galesburg, Joe Hammen (Cindy) of Wayland and John Hammen (Deana) of Washington; his brother Harold Hammen (Donna) of North Liberty; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Hammen of Washington and Elaine Eberle of Santa Barbara, California.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
