He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Rose and Larene Krieger Rose; and his daughter Terri Rose. He is survived by: his children, Julie Rose, Sheri Rose (Trapp), Ryan Rose, Matt Rose and Michaela Rose (Butler); and his grandchildren, Nick Trapp, Jake Trapp, Ashley Rose, Abby Trapp, Jaden Taylor, Shelby Metzler and Kaleb Rose.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harlan Little League Athletic Club.
