He is survived by: his mother Beverly Burgod (Oban) of Ipswich; his wife Gay of Harlan, Iowa; his son Nathan Burgod of Polk City, Iowa; his granddaughters, Marley Burgod of Polk City, Iowa and Savannah Rose Willow of Des Moines, Iowa; his foster daughter Julie Anne Kohl; and his siblings, Gary Burgod of New Evarts, Paula Torrance (Jim) of Lino Lakes, Minnesota and Keith (Julie) of Ipswich.
