She is survived by: her husband Bernus; her parents, Sonjia Smith and Bernus Smith of Harlan, IA; her grandparents, Scott, Billie Phipps of Harlan, IA and Octavia Smith of Georgetown, SC; and her aunts and uncles, Amethyst Phipps, Josh Goeser, Anthony (Carrie Smith), Terrence (Sophia Smith) and Brien (Latoya Orfield).
