He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nels Ejnar and Martha Hansena Christensen (Hansen); his grandparents, Danish, Rasmus, Maren Hansen (Andersen), Soren and Sophie Christensen (Nielsen); his parents-in-law, George and Hester Darnell (Hewett); his son Michael Jon; his brother Dale; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Benson, Mildred Hull, Donald, Delbert and Darrell Darnell; his wife Margaret of Harlan; his children, Kathlyn Janelle (Timothy), Marilyn Mardelle Weddum, Evelyn Jean Madsen, Orvie Lee "Toby", Mark Eugene (Cindi) and Thomas Kevin; his sister Mary Johnson of Council Bluffs; and his grandchildren, Kristin Weddum, Todd Weddum (Shelli), Bradley Madsen (Jenny), Amanda Fletcher (Justin), Luke Hansen (Heather), Zach Redman and Nikolas Christensen. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
