It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nathan Lee Vert (Harlan, Iowa), born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Rodney Vert (Raylene) of Stroud, Oklahoma and Stacy Davis (Steve) of Harlan, Iowa; his sister Sheila Backer (Brad) of Waukee, Iowa; his nephew Cade Backer; his niece Emily Backer; his grandmother Dorothy Vert of Waukee, Iowa; and his stepsiblings, Heather Davis of Omaha, Nebraska, Cody Smith of Gore, Oklahoma and Chintelle Smith of Chandler, Oklahoma. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.
