She is survived by: her husband Tom DeRuby of Bellevue, NE; her siblings, Valarian "Larry" Schmitz (Vick) of Harlan, IA, Janice Schmitz (late Cletus) of Harlan, IA, Norman Schmitz (Gloria) of Harlan, IA, Roger Schmitz (Judy) of Westphalia, IA, Renee Davis (late Russ Schmitz) of Glenwood, IA, Marvin Schmitz (Joan) of Harlan, IA, Linda Bender (late James) of Lambertsville, MI, Velma Arkfeld (Bruce) of Defiance, IA, Jim Schmitz (Vicki) of Bennington, NE and Doris Schmitz (Lenny) of Harlan, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Mellen (Eric) of Tucson, AZ, Sharon DeRuby of Rome, NY, Christine DeRuby (Bobby) of Rome, NY and Billy DeRuby of Rome, NY. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
