He is survived by: his sister Aletha Hansen; his son Adrian Nelson; his wife Suzanne Rasmussen of Kirkman, Iowa; his children, Kevin Rasmussen of Harlan, Iowa, Scott Rasmussen (Michelle) of Elk Horn, Iowa and Gina Glenn (Matt) of Harlan, Iowa; his grandchildren, Amy Rasmussen of Chicago, Illinois, Rachel Rasmussen of Leesburg, Virginia, Jaynie Rasmussen of Avoca, Iowa, David Rasmussen of Harlan, Iowa and Isabella Glenn of Harlan, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Rasmussen of Kirkman, Iowa, Marian Greer-Stokes of Harlan, Iowa, Gary Greer (Susan) of Harlan, Iowa and David Greer (Jodi) of Fort Collins, Colorado. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
Mike lived long enough to make sure Izzy was home with her parents from the Children's Hospital on the 27th and then rapidly lost his battle after 3 days with COVID 19, October 29th.
