She was predeceased by: her parents, William Comstock and Eva Comstock (Burger); her son Dennis; her son-in-law Richard Crawley; and her brothers, Robert and Ronald Comstock.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Bargenquast of Avoca, Iowa; and her children, Cheryl Hamrick (Lyle Jr.) of LaVista, Nebraska, Gary Bargenquast (Ruangkaew) of Chiang Rai, Thailand, Connie Crawley of Glenwood, Iowa and Linda VanWey (Rob) of Liverpool. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
