With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Frances Gerholdt (Harlan, Iowa), who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Francis L. Peterson of Harlan, Iowa.; and her former husband Ronald Woltmann. She is survived by: her husband John Gerholdt; her children, Daniel Woltmann (Carla Barnes) and Coleen Carroll of Amarillo, TX; her sister Fayetta Fields (Dick); her sisters-in-law, Mary Larson and Cathe Bynum (Pete); her grandchildren, Dakota Garcia (Anna), Tanner Woltmann, McKenzie Carroll, McKayla Carroll and Gabby Ryan; and her nieces and nephews, Rod Miller (Arden), Rachelle Miller and Robbyn Miller-Myers.
Since Covid, Sunday family Zoom calls with participants from all over the country have been the highlight of the week, sharing stories and gaining insight to each other's lives.
