Jean Schroeder Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Schroeder of Harlan, Iowa, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Schroeder to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reimer Maassen and Wilma Maassen (Peters); her husband Dexter Adolph Schroeder; her daughter Jane D. Burger; her sister Marilyn Lou Petersen; and her brothers-in-law, LeRoy Peterson and Robert Gustafson.

She is survived by: her children, Judith A. Schroeder of Omaha, Nebraska, Nancy L. Peterson (Tim) of West Point, Nebraska and David A Schroeder (Lisa) of Woodbury, Minnesota; her son-in-law Terry Burger of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her sister LuAnn Gustafson of Apple Valley, Minnesota. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers family suggest memorials be made to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.
