She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Christensen and Emelia Christensen (Scott); her husband Wilbert "Webb" Hemminger; her son Dale Hemminger; her daughter-in-law B. J. Hemminger; and her sister Bernadine Gaer.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Hemminger (Angie) of Blair, Nebraska and Dwayne Hemminger of Harlan, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Pat Hemminger of Harlan, IA; her grandchildren, Seth Hemminger, Corrine Steele, Heather Claussen, Reid Hemminger, Holly Hemminger and Shad Hemminger; and her brother Donald Christensen of Walnut, Iowa. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
