He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Swenson and Pauline Swenson (Stolz); his siblings, Randy, Joyce, Jeannie and Zeta; and his brothers-in-law, John and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rasmussen; his children, Matt Swenson (Amber DeLuca) of Harlan, IA and Amanda McCarthy (Rusty Jordan) of Walnut, IA; his grandchildren, Ashtyn McCarthy, Ayden McCarthy, Sarah Swenson, Vincent DeLuca and Paul DeLuca; and his sister Jolene Hass of Loveland, CO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
