It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Faye Jacobsen of Harlan, Iowa, born in Manilla, Iowa, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Clarence Backhaus; her husbands, William Kardell (Bill) and Ronald Jacobsen; and her sister Janet Dotzler. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Kardell (Chris Pilzer) of Alexandria, VA and Kevin (Jill Kardell) of Lee's Summit, MO; her grandchildren, Trevor and Reece Kardell of Lee's Summit, MO; and her sisters, Rachel Dolby of Irwin and Sandra Gruhn of Manilla. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials be made to the Harlan Senior Center and SWITA.
