She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Nelson and Edna E. Nelson (Jensen); and her siblings, Merle, Grace, Lloyd and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Merrill (Julie) of Wichita, KS, Reuben Paulsen (JoAnn) of Overland Park, KS and Mary Kay Grarup (Kjeld) of Handbjerg, Denmark; her grandchildren, Lisa Knapp (Chuck) of Concordia, KS, Lori Fast (Scott) of Overland Park, KS, Terry Paulsen (Tina) of Springfield, VA, Jeff Paulsen (Tiffany) of Olathe, KS, Anna Marie Lunding (Jorgen) of Handbjerg, Denmark and Mai-Lis Grarup (Torben) of Tune, Denmark; her stepgranddaughters, Joni Shadonix, Overland Park and Janise Thurston; and her brother Everett Nelson of Audubon, IA. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
