He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Jake" Baker and Leola "Lee" Baker (Fairchild); his siblings, Larry Baker and Cynthia Baker; and his granddaughter Abigail Whitford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Reinig of Mary's Our Lady; his children, Max Baker (Sarah) of Grinnell, IA and Sarah Baker of Omaha; his grandchildren, Mikaela Abbott (Zach) of Oskaloosa, Zachary Fillmore of Grinnell, Jacob Baker of Oskaloosa, Connor Whitford of Omaha and Benjamin Whitford of Omaha; his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Messer; and his sisters, Susan Arnold (Raymond) of Minden and Michelle Blum (Gary) of Harlan, IA..
