He was predeceased by: his daughter Sheri Pierce-Rose. He is survived by: his wife Loraine Pierce of Harlan, IA; his daughter Vicki Pierce of Austin, TX; his grandson Jayson Pierce-Rose (Catherine) of Council Bluffs, IA; his daughter Jaynelle Pierce-Rose of Austin, TX; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Caleigh and Jayce; his siblings, Brenda Sweeney (Jim) of Harlan, IA, Jackie Guzman (Chon) of Harlan, IA and Toni Dye (Harold) of Sheridan, MO; and his brother-in-law Norm Kleckner of Castro Valley, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to Fresh Encounters Church.
