He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Peterson and Zelia Peterson (Scott); his brother David Lee; his brother-in-law Richard Rahn; his nephew Brian Rahn; and his niece Angie Montgomery.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Peterson of Harlan and Laura "Lori" (Dana Jahn) of Manilla; his grandchildren, Chris Jahn, Clark Jahn (Chelsea), Jacob Schechinger (Amber) and Laci Kane (Mitch); his great grandchildren, Shane Beogher, Keagan Schiltz, Caelix Jahn, Cobie Jahn, Calvin Schechinger, Ira Schechinger and Jaelyn Kane; and his siblings, Jan Rahn, Kay Cota and Leroy Peterson (Sheri).
