She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter F. Kuster and Jean Kuster (Gibson); her son James Dean Nelson; her grandson Keith Nelson; and her brothers, Kenneth Kuster and Robert Kuster.
She is survived by: her significant other Jim Nelson; her children, Chuck Nelson (Margo), Caroline Stamp (Kurt), Brenda Thomas (Terry) and Tom Nelson (Michelle); her daughter-in-law Robin Nelson; and her sister Mary Jean Barney. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
