It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice Ann Kwapiszeski (Harlan, Iowa), who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schmitz and Mary Schmitz; her husband Edward Kwapiszeski; her granddaughter Jennifer Kwapiszeski; her son-in-law Gary Anderson, Sr.; and her siblings, Stella Wingert (Isadore), Lillian Blum (Martin), Laura Schmitz, Eileen Schrader (Stan), Mary Jane Schmitz, Virgil Schmitz (Mary) and Leroy Schmitz.

She is survived by: her sister Naomi Gross (late Marcus); and her nieces and nephews, Jeanne Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska, Tom Kwapiszeski (Becky) of Yukon, Oklahoma, Peggy Kolm (Bill) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jerry Kwapiszeski (Sharon) of Mustang, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
