With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred George Wede of Harlan, Iowa, born in Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert August and Lydia Amanda Kiesel Wede; his son Charles Wede; his sisters-in-law, Betty Wede, Audrie Wede and Linda Basford; his brothers, Ernest Wede, Willam Wede and Raymond Wede; his parents-in-law, Alice and Wilford Doonan; his nieces, Connie Johnson and Sheila Rudolph; and his nephew Mark Wede.
He is survived by: his brother William; his son Al "Sonny" Jr.; his wife Genevieve Wede of Atlantic, Iowa; his children, Nancy (Tim Templeman) of Atlantic, Iowa, Rod Wede of McKinney, Texas and Scott (Jill Wede) of Lantana Texas; his grandchildren, Branden Kemp (Kristina) of Bellevue and Trevor Templeman (Kari Vrban) of Iowa City, Iowa; his sons, Justin Templeman (Tara Cooley) of Anita and Blake Wede (Emerson Sujack) of McKinney, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Rigby Templeman, Lily Vanderlinden, Owen Vanderlinden, Madison Kemp and Eden Templeman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives.
