He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edwin and Marjorie June Billings (Holste); his brother Bill Billings; and his brother-in-law Mike Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl of Hancock, IA; his sons, Jim Billings (Gayle "Bear" Carroll) of Avoca, IA and Josh Billings (Mandy) of Hancock, IA; his granddaughters, Avri and Orion Hancock; his sister Linda Pierson of Oakland, IA; his niece Erin Pierson of Blue Springs, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Guyer (Steve) of Hancock, IA and Eldon'Butch'Popp of Walnut, IA. He is also survived by many other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hancock United Methodist Church (204 E Kimball St, Hancock, IA 51536). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Larry's name.
