He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Flossi Johnson (Berens); his wife Mary Johnson; his son Jerry Johnson; and his siblings, Kathryn, Everett, John, Harry, George, Staufer, Fred, Lawrence, Herbert, Mildred, Frances and Alfred.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Tiedt of New Hampton, Patti Morris (Butch) of Kansas City and Lisa Johnson of Des Moines; and his daughter-in-law Danette Johnson of Brooklyn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
