He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Butt and Irene Butt (Buckalew); his former wife Karen Cuffel; his children, Ricky Butt and Cynthia White; his grandchildren, Kevin and Cory; his great grandchild Kaylee; and his siblings, Denny, Robert, Larry, Merle, James, Dolores and Deanna.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Butt (Lewis) of Hampton; his children, Lanette Butt of Des Moines and Raymond Butt (Rhoda Negron) of Evans Mills; and his stepchildren, Dennis Stanton (Sherry) of Des Moines, Dale Stanton (Shelley) of Amarillo, Teri Cywinski of Hampton, Alan Stanton (Eadie) of Iowa Falls and Barbara Barghahn of La Crescent, Minnesota. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
