She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kersten and Doris Kersten (Flattem); and her husband Timothy McGuire. She is survived by: her children, Bethany Bell of Ypsilanti, Benjamin McGuire (Stephanie) of Hampton and Jonathan McGuire (Sonja) of Mason City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Oliver Krumm, Thaddeus Bell of Ypsilanti, Anya McGuire, Landyn McGuire, Mattelyn McGuire, Jace McGuire, Delilah McGuire, Calvyn McGuire, Violet McGuire, Christopher McGuire of Hampton, Curtis McGuire of Barnes City and Faye Tuttle (Justin) of Charles City; her great grandchild Iris Tuttle of Charles City; and her siblings, Donna Jones (Noel) of Why, Arizona, David Kersten (Linda) of Pueblo, Dennis Kersten (Barb) of Janesville and Ronald Kersten of Evansville, Wisconsin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (1701 Central Ave E, Hampton, IA 50441). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
