With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Glenn VanKleeck of Hampton, Iowa, born in Charles City, Iowa, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Glenn and Marjorie Delores VanKleeck (Shaw); and his siblings, Paul and Judy Straw. He is survived by: his wife Mardell VanKleeck of Hampton; his siblings, Stanley VanKleeck (Debbie) of Arizona and Joan Mulford of Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Marcee Sidmore (Mike Pals) of Hampton and Marcia Laube (Michael) of Minnesota. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the Hampton United Methodist Church for the purchase of a portable heart defibrillator.
