With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Eileen Jones of Hampton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hansen and Marie Hansen of Coulter; her brothers, Earl Hansen (Ann) and Glenn Hansen (Sherrill); her brother-in-law Bud Meyer of Coulter; and her nieces, Kathy Hansen and Susan Blau.
She is survived by: her husband Loren Reineking of Coulter; her children, Lori Ruge-Jones (Phil) of Eau Claire and Steve Jones (Laura) of Newton; her stepdaughters, Tracy Strohm (Scott) of Shawnee, KS and Keri Curtis (James); her grandchildren, Kayla Hammons (Rob) of Kansas City, Luisa Ruge-Jones of Cincinnati, OH, Jonah Jones (Ashley) of Huxley, Lucas Rugejones (Lexi) of Austin, TX, Grace "Ryan" Jones of Des Moines, Brennen, Katherine Strohm of Shawnee, Michaela and Benjamin Curtis of Des Moines; her great grandchildren, Camren, Vada, Rose, Tyler, Alessa and Delphina; and her sister Leona Meyer of Iowa Falls. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
