Though Patty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walker and Kathryn Walker (Roshek); her husband Bruce Whipple; her aunt Agnus; her uncle Jimmy Swatosh; and her in-laws, William and Francis Whipple.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Whipple (Jacqueline) of Hampton and Erin Whipple of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by several cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hampton - Woodley Funeral Home (306 Central Ave E, Hampton, IA 50441).
