With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Lee Johansen (Hampton, Iowa), born in Pine City, Minnesota, who passed away on April 26, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Valdemar "Walter" and Adeline "Opal" Johansen (Olson); his daughter Debbie Hansen; and his siblings, Margie Frank, Roy and Bob Johansen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Johansen of Hampton; his children, Rick Johansen of Mason City and Tammy Abel of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Byron Bessman (Theresa) of Arizona, Lorraine LeDoux (Bob) of Mason City and Margaret Quintero of Sioux City; and his brother Mel Johansen (LaVonne) of Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
