As Marvin Otto departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marvin Otto. Though Marvin Otto may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Rodemeyer and Amanda Rodemeyer (Pralle); and his siblings, Arthur, Alice Miller and Imogene.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Carstens; and his son Mark Alan Rodemeyer (Hampton). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (16 12th Ave NE, Hampton, IA 50441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
