He is survived by: his mother Marvel Burmester (Bjelland) of Hampton; his former wife Connie Stalheim; his daughters, Melissa Schmidt (Rusty) of Clear Lake and Lindsay Royster (Aaron) of Duncombe; his siblings, Lucy Oehlert (Randy) of Hampton, Fred Burmester (Lori) of Grundy Center and Lynette Rustad (Guy) of Lakeville; and his grandchildren, Rylan, Collan Kuhn, Easton and Emersyn Royster. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lale's family.
