It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn A. Happel (Hampton, Iowa), who passed away on July 7, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Folkerts and Rosa Folkerts (Jepsen); her son Keith Happel; and her brothers, Calvin and Robert Folkerts.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Happel of Hampton; her daughter Betty Hussey of Omaha; her sister Fern Lindvall of Atlantic; her granddaughter Christina Bernal of Omaha; and her great grandchildren, Martin, Análi, Rosemary Bernal and Emilia Devore of Omaha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
