It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Schomburg of Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thompson and Helen Thompson; her husband Bob Schomburg; her brothers, Chuck and David Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Louis and Corinne Schomburg.

She is survived by: her son Todd Schomburg (Jomarie Tucci); her sisters, Delores Blackmer of Mason City, IA and Beverly Hinders of Ackley, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Paulus (Leo) of Fort Worth, Texas, Terry Schomburg and Sandy Schomburg-Wagner (Tom) of Iowa City, IA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
