She was predeceased by: her parents, George William and Anna Crowston (Klodt); her husband Dan Leonard Whitney; and her siblings, Hilda, Robert, William Donald and Arthur.
She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Whitney of Mason City; and her sister Grace Mary Rapp of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
