He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Rule and Gertrude Rule (Kramer); his wife Helen Moberg; and his brother-in-law Jim Clark. He is survived by: his daughter Jeanne Lanferman (Lonnie) of Pella; his grandchildren, Jacob (Julia), Mikala, Rebekah and Rachel; his son Scott Rule (Lisa) of Chillicothe, MO; his granddaughters, Libby and Emma; and his sisters, Jane Clark and Nancy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hope Ministries in Des Moines, Iowa.
