He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mejia and Petra Mejia (Rodriquez); his siblings, Juanita Rocha, Vacilia McBride, Patrick Mejia, Lena Mary and Franislado; and his son-in-law Paul Smith.
He is survived by: his former wife Doris Gamble; his wife Shirley Branan; his children, Kay Mulder, Tom Mulder (Brande), Cristie Larsen (Alan), Jimmy Mejia, Betty Graney (Kyle), Hampton, Chad Martin (Alissa George) and Justin Mejia; and his siblings, Ray Mejia, Angie Langwell (Carl) of Nixa, MO, Felix Mejia (BettyLou), Joe Mejia (Carol) and Patty Fitz of Eden Valley, MN.
