He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Staley and Merna Staley (Hamilton); his brothers, Jack, Robert and James; and his sister-in-law Joyce.
He is survived by: his former spouse Carolou Anne Jackson; his brother Lawrence; his children, Teresa Fox (Dave) of Hampton, Brad Staley (Susan) of Hampton and Tami Ridout of Eldora; his grandchildren, Tara Lyons (Sean) of Seattle, WA, Erik Fox of Zumbrota, MN, Kyle Staley of Clive, IA, Megan Fischer (Brandon) of Underwood, IA, Morgan Ridout and Gavin Ridout of Eldora, IA; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Charles, Jonathon, Michael, William Lyons, Brody, Leo and Beckett Fischer; his siblings, Darrell Staley (Julie) of Nevada and Judith McVeigh of Colorado; and his close friend Donna Fae Schepers of Ames. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
