He was predeceased by: his parents, George Abbas and Ida Abbas; and his siblings, Edwin "Bud" Abbas, Arlene Horner, Gertrude Himan, Lena Salven and Norma Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Abbas of Hampton; his children, Kristi Hauser (Phil) of Hampton, Tami Brass (Tom) of Hampton, Kevin Abbas (Judy) of Geneva and Chad Abbas (Kim) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Jill Harvey (Ryan), Jennifer Struck (Matt), Jayne Becker (Matt), Tara Pralle (Mike), Tanner Brass, Makayla Abbas, Michael Abbas and Mason Abbas; his great grandchildren, Philip Harvey, Benjamin Harvey, Sam Struck, Ella Struck, Lily Becker, Lydia Becker Maddie Pralle, Maci Pralle and Tate Pralle; his brother Bob Abbas (Ilene) of Hampton; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Abbas of Hampton.
