He is survived by: his wife Ella Butler of Hampton; his children, Rhett Butler of Cedar Rapids, Rebecca Fink (Jason) of Hampton, Norwegian and Trond Grytting (Hilde) of Bergen; his grandchildren, Katelyn Butler of Lafayette, Abby Fink of Cedar Falls and Eli Fink of Hampton; and his siblings-in-law, Georgia Mourlam of Alden, Jo Berndt of Buckeye and Gary Brooks of St. Louis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
