With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Springer of Hampton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Springer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Springer and Maxine Springer (Heaton); his parents-in-law, Willard and Regina Weber; and his sister Lola Ault.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Springer of Hampton, Iowa; his sons, Jeffrey Springer (Diana) of Hampton and Christopher Springer (Jen) of Union, Iowa; his grandchildren, Taylor Throndson (Andrew), Sarah Springer (Blake), McCoy Springer, Megdalyn Springer (Caleb), Paige Springer (Breanne), Kasey Springer and Hailey Dietrich (Cole); and his siblings, Mary Lenth (Jerome) and Richard Springer (MaryLou). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hampton United Methodist Church (100 Central Ave E, Hampton, IA 50441). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
