He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Heitland and Catherine Heitland (Janssen); his wife Ann Heitland (Pendergraft); and his siblings, George Heitland, Clarence Heitland, John Heitland and Lorraine Rust.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Heitland (Bryce Feldhoff) of Ames, IA and Laurie Huen (Tod) of Claremore, OK; his grandchildren, Heather Robinett (Robert), Harley Coyne (Audrey), Isaac Feldhoff and Lane Huen; his great grandchildren, Carter Robinett and Cooper Robinett; and his nephews, Mike Heitland (Jan) and Kevin Rust (Jerre). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
