It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Lee Thielen of Hampton, Iowa, born in Latimer, Iowa, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manly McCormick and Hazel McCormick (Azeltine); her husband Duane "Curly" Charles Thielen; and her siblings, Robert McCormick, Marilyn Miller and Carol Dee Thielen.
She is survived by: her children, Audrey Karinen (Bob) of Littleton, Denise Figueroa (Luis) of Brooksville, Janelle Wilson (David) of Jefferson, Kim Shugar (Jim) of Ankeny and Charlie Thielen (Sue) of Hampton; and her sisters, Linda Faye Hayward (Tracy) of Cedar Rapids and Ellen Kay Dirks (George) of Clarion.
