With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlotta W. Rodemeyer of Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on September 3, 2020 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira C. Brown and Gertie Brown (Walker); her husband Richard; her son Max Rodemeyer; her brothers, Aubrey and Herman Brown; her children-in-law, Robert Thompson and Polly Rodemeyer; her great grandchildren, Austin and Alex Rodemeyer; and her siblings-in-law, Lorna Brown and Alwin Rodemeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Laverne Rodemeyer of Hampton, Linda Thompson of LeGrand and Carla Oleson (Mike) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Stephanie Laudner (Chuck) of Arlington, Audra Meyeraan (Kory) of Grimes, Lanette Lashway (Keith) of League City, Brian Thompson (Sue) of Gladbrook, Robin Leytham (Bill) of LeGrand, Ginger Song (Justin) of Ankeny, Candice Oleson of Des Moines, Jade Rodemeyer (Traci) of Grimes and Joel Rodemeyer (Amanda) of Latimer; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Emily, Trenton, Brandon, Corey, Kaleigh, Kristen, Whitney, Paige, Aaron, Michael, Logan, Sydney, Macy, Preston, Hannah, Cole, Gavin and Tate; her great great grandchild Madelyn Faith Lashway; her brother Lowell Brown of Hampton; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Rodemeyer of Latimer. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family graveside service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Latimer.
