Bill Lee Hand Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Lee Hand of Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Hand and Florence Hand (Bates); his wife Shirley (Rydberg); and his siblings, Dale, Delane, Russell, Ronald, Howard, Richard, Teddy and Dorothy (Thornton).
He is survived by: his sister Donna (Glen) of Sarasota; and his sons, Lon Hand (Barbara) of Chaska, Douglas Hand (Michelle) of Solon, Scott Hand (Janese) of Clear Lake and Kevin Hand (Christy) of Jewell. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorials be made to the Hampton Library in honor of Bill and his passion for reading.
