He is survived by: his wife Ruby May Jorgensen; his children, Galen Burgett of Rapid City, Christine Marshall (Ron) of Elko and Lowell Burgett (Meg) of Wasilla, Alaska.; and his sister Charlotte Pittman. He is also survived by three grandsons, three great-granddaughters.
