He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ewing and Gladys Ewing (McCoskey); and his parents-in-law, Morris and Ruth Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ewing; his sons, Tim (Melissa), Gary (Kim) and Brent; his grandchildren, Melanie (Kyle Arnold), Jessie Ewing (Sean), J. C. Ewing (Crystal), Tierney Ewing and Tori Ewing; his stepgrandchildren, Kelli Boyce (Matt), Michael Anderson (Jen), Brice Mehrhoff (Affton), Tarren Mehrhoff (Logan) and K. D. LaChappelle; his great grandchildren, Noah, Natalie, Karlie, Nathan Arnold, Lara and Henry Elwood Ewing; his stepgreat-grandchildren, EJ Anderson, Willow, Wyatt Van Horn, Remmie, Colt Mehrhoff and Aria Hernandez; his sister Carlene Tipping (Leonard); and his pet Rusty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
