Richard W. VanZile Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard W. VanZile of Hamilton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. VanZile and V. Pearl VanZile (Kennedy); his in-laws, Henry L. and Jessie B. Schneider (Boyd); and his siblings-in-law, Alice Miller, Gloria Ruffcorn, Lana Lee, Karen Nichol, Diane Schneider, Charlotte Schneider, Arthur "A. J." Schneider, Jim Miller, Ken Ruffcorn and Kent Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Roger VanZile (Donna) of Monticello, Kristina Engel (Gregg) of Hamilton and Paula Vickers (Warren) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Heather Washburn (Adam) of Keokuk, Brian VanZile (Leslie Kay) of Keokuk, Todd VanZile (Michelle) of Keokuk and Trent VanZile (Melissa Cox) of Carthage; his stepgranddaughter Katie Smith (Shannon) of Kathleen, Georgia; his siblings, Nancy Gregory of Keokuk and Gordon VanZile of Warsaw; and his siblings-in-law, George Schneider of Montrose, Jack Schneider of Cambridge, Steve Schneider (Cindy) of Montrose, Janet Hoppe (Larry) of Hamilton and Dixie Schneider of Canton, Missouri. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
